An Astro starter gets you running in minutes. Override colors, fonts, and layouts in your own CSS — no need to fork the theme or dig into its internals. Soames uses a simple override pattern so your site-specific styles always take precedence, and upgrading the theme never clobbers your customizations.
Publish to Netlify, Vercel, or any static host. No PHP, no server to maintain, and Cloudflare in front for free. Because the front end is a pre-built static site, your pages load instantly from a CDN edge node closest to each visitor — and there’s no WordPress process exposed to the internet to attack.
